Welcome to the Bruce Springsteen mp3 Bootleg Index!

This site was first set up as an extension to the 'mp3 Request Thread' on The Promised Land forum on BTX at www.Backstreets.com.

http://www.backstreets.com/btx/index.php

If you would like to request a particular song or show or report a dead link, please visit the request thread here....

http://www.backstreets.com/btx/viewtopic.php?t=169

It's a separate site so you will have to register at BTX if you want to post over there.

-----------------------------------------------

Artwork

The vast majority of artwork images and links are from this excellent site:

http://www.jungleland.it/

Please note: The artwork links are for you to print for your own personal use and are not intended to encourage trading of mp3 sourced bootlegs. If you are trading CDs that have been downloaded here, please make it absolutely clear that they are mp3 sourced.

------------------------------------------------

Officially released material

There are no links to official / commercially available material anywhere on this site. The same is true of BTX. Please do not post or requests links to such material. This includes audio from official DVDs. Thanks.

------------------------------------------------

WinRar files

Instructions for WinRAR (thanks to quantumrr at BTX):

Most of the shows are WinRAR format. In order to convert that type of file to a playable format, you need a WinRAR utility. You can download a free trial here:

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

The free trial seems to last forever, so pay for it as your conscience dictates.

After you install the program all you have to do is locate the WinRAR file you wish to convert in Windows Explorer. Select the file, then right click. Among the options that will pop up is "Extract Here". Select that option and the program will unpack the individual song files. From there you can load them in iTunes or whatever player you use.

-------------------------------------------------

Acknowledgements:

I'd like to thank all the great people who make this site possible. Although I look after the site and keep it updated, it's mainly other people's work that keeps the place going.

The uploaders at BTX who are posting all the shows and songs that keep me busy include:

ramrod75
Ain't Got You
quamtumrr
Beazle00
SoulBoogieAlex
night
Leah
mad
bruceholic
Jungleman
ol' catfishinthelake

If I've forgotten anybody, please feel free to remind me!
----------------------
The setlist information and notes about shows come from this legendary site - it's well worth a browse and should be in the 'favourites' of any self-respecting Bruce fan....

---------------------
Other great Bruce-related sites (coincidentally they're both also run by BTX regulars  )
