Note by ramrod75: The audio quality is good but the people who made the compilation didn't edit the tracks very well; in my opinion the tracks should have been cut at different points.
As you know, when Bruce is playing a solo tour, he generally talks before the song introducing it; usually the tracks in the bootlegs are cut so that this intro is in the track before so one file contains the song and the intro of the following track.
The people who made this compilation took the songs from the bootlegs without cutting the intro of the subsequent song, so in almost all the tracks you will hear Bruce playing the song and then talking about a song that you won't hear...

"I Love You" using Bruce's words and music to accompany your own dedication, sincerity, and passion.
I sampled the song catalog from 1974 through the end of the Magic Tour. I avoided songs with names in the titles and lyrics; songs
dealing with loss and heartbreak; songs that could be considered political. I tried to sample songs from landmark concerts
and obscure shows. Some cuts have been performed thousands of times and some just a few. Some are Bruce originals and some are covers.
The artwork is surely amateurish, but original. My thanks to the uncredited photographers.
All music files have been converted to mp3s from torrented flacs or downloaded from the BTX index. I have cut verbal
intros and outros. I have done a few fade ins and fades outs to eliminate loud clapping and crowd noises. I have altered loudness of some
cuts to make the overall volume consistent. I used NCH Sound File Editor. I have left my own collection of flacs and mp3s unchanged
and you should as well.
This collection is what it is. It is not intended to be a show. It is, as the title states, "Echoes of Our Life Together In Concert"
There is no intent to dilute nor to corrupt the song file gene pool. I regret if the song file purity police are offended. If this collection

Don't know who's interested in this, but now that everything's been played, here are all 12 songs from Magic performed live. The majority of the tracks came from both CC NY shows, I thought those would be best. You'll Be Comin' Down and Terry's Song came from EV2's Anaheim bonus disc, Last to Die and Your Own Worst Enemy are from 10/10, and I'll Work for Your Love is from Detroit 11/5. I also included the calliope intro before Radio Nowhere. Hope you all enjoy!

Bruce Springsteen “MY RIDE’S HERE”:
Memorial Tributes 1980-2008”
“My Ride’s Here” is a 4 disc generally chronological compilation of memorial tribute songs Bruce has performed from 1980 through July 4, 2008 during various tour shows and benefit appearances for legendary musicians, singers, actors, news reporters, fallen fire fighters and police officers, soldiers who died in Vietnam and Iraq, 9/11 victims, ordinary people, personal friends, fans, his long time personal assistant, Terry Magovern and more recently, his blood brother of 40 years, Danny Federici.
The tribute set features 52 songs dedicated to 28 people with many of them including informative introductions. Multiple dedications exist for 7 people: Link Wray-2, John Lennon-2, George Harrison-2, Tim Russert-4 with one by Luke Russert’s Uncle Tony Skizzaro, Walter Cichon-2, Peter Boyle-2, and Danny Federici-19, with 5 songs from his final appearance with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in Indianapolis, IN on 3/20/08.
Two tributes to Curtis Mayfield and Frank Sinatra, who both died a few years after the respective perfomances, are added as bonus filler items.
Lengthy introductions are isolated as separate tracks, including numerous ones for Danny Federici from the seven U.S. shows following his death along with the amazing intro story about the 1970 Middletown police riot where Danny became “Phantom” Dan as told at the Cardiff, Wales show on 6/14/08.
An additional dedication during the Cardiff show for “Meet The Press” host and huge fan, Tim Russert is included as are key tracks from the Kennedy Center Memorial Service on 6/18/08. Of note, is that during the service for Russert, the region was hit with a huge thunderstorm. The service ended with a simple but beautiful ukulele driven version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo'oleo playing over the house P.A. Upon exiting the venue, people could see a huge glorious double rainbow over the nation’s capital. A picture of this is featured on the insert artwork as the full semi-circle rainbow framed perfectly over the Washington National Cathedral. Perhaps that was Tim Russert’s way of saying “Thanks Bruce” for providing the surprise video dedication of “Thunder Road” for his memorial service.
Completists may want to “enhance” the compilation, for personal use only, by inserting “Blood Brothers” [the rockin’ studio version from the 1996 VHS bonus disc EP] after Disc 1, Track 1 [Rumble #1 on Disc #1] and by inserting the “Blood Brothers” audio from the video tribute in Tampa on 4/22/08 after Disc 3, Track 4 (Terry’s Song on Disc #3]. The first is an official release and the latter is a recording of an official release and therefore, both have been deleted from the version that is being seeded. Both discs have room for the tracks to be added but they are not included on the artwork, thus, they’ll be hidden tracks if you add them.
Artwork for a regular 4 CD case is included with the files as is a “Behind The Tributes” detailed list of the tributes with notes, some lengthy, about most of them. Artwork includes front and back inserts, disc labels, and a six-page booklet.
All tracks have been painstakingly edited and equalized by born2run2 in various degrees to maintain continuity. A daunting task, tremendous thanks go out to her for all of her efforts, without which, this would not have been seeded as well as to all the BTX posters who helped in providing leads and tribute details: “It had to be done!”
These priceless time capsules showcase Bruce’s sincere generous acts of sympathy over the years. As Bruce said in a “Creem” interview in October of 1978, “You can’t save everybody, but you gotta try.”
Thus, “My Ride’s Here” is Bruce doing exactly that – for so many people. I hope you enjoy it and find it inspirational – “If the spirit moves you!”

There are some "Nebraska Live" compilations out there. Why do we need
another one? I love the TGoTJ tour and I think the versions of the
Nebraska songs during that tour are something special, maybe very
close to what Bruce was thinking of when he recorded Nebraska. However,
he was "playing" with his 4-Track-Tape-Recorder instead of record the
songs in a good studio and leave them pure acoustic. Also, I think
Bruces voice is warmer during the TGoTJ tour in comparison to his voice
in the early eighties. This compilation is my tribute to Nebraska! It
was a pleasure for me to mix this compilation and of course I like the
result very much, my favourite Nebraska compilation!
I took some of the best recordings of this tour and mixed the songs

As Columbia Records once advertised, "Nobody Sings Dylan Like Dylan." Still, I always love to hear Dylan covers. Whenever one pops up, at a show or online, I listen attentively for something new the singer might bring to the song. For the last few years, I've been collecting them via bit torrent with an eye toward making a multi-volume compilation.
Volume 3 is definitely the best one so far. It was originally going to be subtitled "The '70s", but there were a few tracks from the '60s that fit nicely, and nothing I wanted to include after 1976. All the recordings are soundboards or broadcasts, and while the quality varies, they mostly sound great. Two cuts, the Springsteen version of "I Want You" and Van Morrison's "Just Like a Woman," though officially unreleased, can hold their own with the greatest Dylan covers ever. There are also some genuine rarities--especially "Sign Language" by Eric Clapton and "Man on the Street" by Dave Van Ronk. Finally, I've listed the last three cuts as Bonus Tracks because they don't really flow with everything else here. The Elton John medley is a mere curiosity, but George Harrison's desolate renditions of "I Threw It All Away" and "Mama You Been On My Mind," recorded in cavernous Tickenham Studios during the Beatles "Let it Be" sessions, tell you everything you need to know about the Quiet Beatle's state of mind as the Greatest Show on Earth disintegrated.
Due to the many different sources, I am not including lineages. I have done nothing to the original files but normalize the levels and fade in and out on each track (using Cool Edit). Thanks, of course, to the tapers, and to the original uploaders.
