Hi...I think this is what you are looking for:
http://www.megaupload.com/it/?d=HIRDT8I2

It's on the first page. As shows are uploaded, the owner of the thread tries to put them all in one location (the front page). Others also post them in the meat of this thread as they come available.

Enjoy...

I sit and wait patiently for the Count Basie Show. I am waiting to sit and imagine the magic in that theatre.

Bumping Ft Lauderdale Show

Postby jponeill70 on Fri May 09, 2008 4:09 pm

Has anyone seen anything on a recording from the recent Ft. Lauderdale show? I'll be posting as well over at BTX which will probably casue me to get chewed up in the meat grinder over there...

Count Basie

Postby jponeill70 on Fri May 09, 2008 5:04 pm

Not sure about that 8.5 out of 10 rating for the Count Basie show...only b/c of the folks in the crowd are up there in level...including during the songs. But yet again, if I paid >$1k for a ticket, I'd be singing as well.

I doubt an official recording would come out on this...bummer.

As always, thanks to the recorders...who I always picture as a cat in the crowd wearing a black trench coat, black hat with a portable digital recorder somehow wired into the hat for optimal recording!!!!

PS - perhaps more versions to follow:

i hope there will be more versions, maybe i expected too much from the recording that is uploaded here, but bruce's voice is much too low in it, and it's a bit bassy too. not complaining, though.
