The Sonic software that comes on my Compaq doesn't put gaps in.

Great Charleston show

Postby maister on Sun Aug 17, 2008 2:42 pm

Last night's show in Charleston was pretty wild. Bruce really answered the request line. He collected a dozen or more request posters from the pit, and really changed his whole show trying to comply. I'd say of the following set list, Light of Day, Growing up, Janey, No Surrender, Atlantic City, Streets of Fire, Jungleland, and Twist and shout were all requests. Twist and shout was just a final song after much begging by the crowd. All in all, great show, energy and music.

Double Shot (Of My Baby's Love) [Tour Premiere--Swingin' Medallions cover]
Radio Nowhere
Out In The Street
Two Hearts
Spirit In The Night
Light Of Day
Growin' Up
Janey Don't You Lose Heart
No Surrender
Atlantic City
Because The Night
She's The One
Livin' In The Future
Mary's Place
Hungry Heart
The Rising
Last To Die
Long Walk Home
Badlands

Streets Of Fire
Jungleland
Born To Run
Rosalita
Dancing In The Dark
American Land
Twist And Shout

Is there any chance anybody would be able to provide Double Shot (Of My Baby's Love) from last night, and You Can't Sit Down from the night before?
Thanks in advance!

I was able to reduce them pretty significantly with a trial of Adobe Audition, but you can still kind of tell they're there!

HELP

Don't use Windows Media Player - it inserts the gaps and has no option for removing them. it's really awesome. Apparently it's just too hard for a company that makes entire operating systems to figure out a way to remove gaps between tracks. Use Roxio, they figured it out.

when i extract from RAR to a local folder all the songs are separate winamp files. if i use the option on the left hand of the folder that says put all these files on a CD, it automatically uses windows media player. how do i do it differently? thanks.

I am currently downloading the Richmond show from Jungleland, so if no one's quicker I will probably have it uploaded by tomorrow (my upload speed is low  ).

Here is the show from Charleston Aug 16:
All I did was converting this from FLAC to mp3. Some mod might wanna put this into the original show-listing...

Definitely thanks. I went to both the Charlotte as well as the Charleston shows (they are within a few hours driving distance), and definitely Charleston was the best this year, as well as probably the best show of his I've ever been to.

I thought that nothing could ever top that Brendan Byrne Arena run back in August of 1984, especially the night Steve came out and did Drift Away. But definitely this show about tops them all, musically, experience, everything.
